Luis Miguel Ariza is a biologist, journalist and novelist. He has been editor of the science section of the newspaper La Razón, worked on the prestigious magazines Scientific American and New Scientist and in the year 2000 produced the 2.mil series on Televisión Española. He has published three novels: La sombra del chamán (2002), Kraken. Atrapados en el abismo (2005) and Proyecto Lázaro (2007). He currently writes articles and works of investigative journalism for El País Semanal and Muy Interesante.
