Jorge Díaz (Alicante, 1962) is a TV journalist and scriptwriter. He started out as a radio reporter and later moved into television. He has directed a number of programmes, and worked as a scriptwriter in several successful TV shows, such as “Hospital Central”, which he co-created, and for which he was script coordinator. He has lived for long spells in Rio de Janeiro, where he set his first novel.
